Sensei Growth Consulting (my food for Hydro)

I've been busy during the winter break. The holidays have came and went. But back to work! I had the opportunity to buy more powder hydroponic food. I'm trying out Jack's (I was using Master Blend) - which is basically the same as the food I used before. But I was a little nervous, not knowing if the Jack's powder food would measure out the same with the Master Blend. Luckily I had a fast delivery from Sensei Growth Consulting and they were awesome in making an easy to use system for their powder foods.

I've been using their powder food since last week and outside my tomato and pepper plants are rich and vibrant in deep color, as well as growing just as quick as the Master Blend. Keep in mind, usually within a day you'll see a significant different in your plant's appearance if you've altered the chemical nutrients in the reservoir. So Jack's is definitely working out great for my garden. Thank you Sensei Garden Consulting for your food delivery!

The measurements from Sensei Growth Consulting come in teaspoons. If you're trying to convert that to grams, I'd use the average of about 5 grams per teaspoon. That measurement does match up to Master Blend, which uses about 2.5 grams per gallon of water for each of their powder foods. I was glad Sensei Growth was helpful with providing a simple guide for their food measurements.

Now why do I like using powder foods instead of liquid? The truth is the abundant amount of food and their storage uses and overall weight. Powders, in the right conditions, can be stored for years to come (if stored in a dark, dry place). Despite their storage, you can get a huge amount of food at a fraction of the cost compared to liquids. To be honest, my last batch of powder food was purchased in 2017! I do like liquid foods and I think there are a variety of different foods for plants you can use. And let's not forget their label art on bottles (like Fox Farms, Advanced Nutrients, Emerald Harvest) which is definitely an attractive appeal. But when you're serious about gardening and growing, I'd stick with the powders. Not to mention you're nut lugging around liquid containers or dealing with spills outside your grow area. And if you're wondering, all types of plant food has a shelf life of up to 10 years. But I think if you're growing anything hydroponically, you're already on the right path to becoming a pro gardener.

I'd also like to mention that Sensei Growth Consulting provides seed-to-sale business consulting, where you can get all you need for your garden, farm or medicinal needs. If you're interested in Sensei Growth Consulting to help you with your hydroponic needs, find them at Ebay (the link says it's a "dangerous site for phishing - my bad) - I'll also let Sensei Growth know of this problem.

And it's that time of year where your outdoors ain't so friendly on your flowers. Here's a little heat lamp I got over a client's outdoor grow system. The strain is Super Silver Haze:

Well back to the grind! I hope all of you are growing some good stuff and doing some good things for the new year! Take care and happy gardening.
